Where our “Halo Cut” option will allow for a white-bordered edge to run along with the shape of your design, thus creating the “Halo” on the finished product. These options can be found by using the pricing tool when added the items to your shopping cart. Additionally, you can have your signs cut into a circle or oval as well as rounded corner options.Special Cut Option
The special cut gives any unique custom shape or size to your signage. The process will allow you to upload a cut path in your file that tells us exactly where to cut your sign. Most customers choose this print option when looking to have drill holes in special sizes or locations other than our standard options. For instance, you can not select drill holes while ANY cut option is selected. In this case, you can order “special cut” and include the die lines as to where the CNC machine to make the cuts needed.
Halo Cut Option
The “Halo Cut” option will still give you the unique shape just like a special cut would, but halo cut is used if you intend to have a white border around the edge of the entire design. You can see an example of a halo cut in the image below.
Rounded Corner Options
We currently offer rounded corners as an automated option in five standardized radial sizes.

Simply add the items to your cart and choose your custom size. Select the “special” or “halo” cut option, and after check out, you can upload your artwork with die lines for the specific special cuts needed. You can get your custom-printed aluminum sign with an edge around your artwork or a full bleed if you want the color to go all the way to the edge. You can also have custom holes drilled so you can easily attach it to an outdoor wall or sturdy post.

Installation
Aluminum signs can be hung and installed easily by selecting drill holes as a finish option. This option will give you .25″ drill holes placed .75″ on center from each side the option has been selected on. Hanging your aluminum sign with washes, mounting to posts, wood, or concrete has never been so easy.
Did you already place your order and forget to select drill holes? No problem, you can simply use a standard metal drill bit to drill them out yourself.
How To Care For Aluminum Signs
