Using your fingers, start at one top corner and peel it at a 45° angle downward, then continue slowly peeling off the rest, ensuring the decal remains safe.
As for storage, now’s the time to retrieve the paper backing you set aside during installation. Stick the decal back onto this original backing paper and lay it flat. To avoid damaging the decal, refrain from rolling tightly to avoid creasing, and keep it away from sharp or heavy objects. Store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality, ensuring it’s ready for future use.
Removing Bubbles and Wrinkles
Unwanted bubbles and wrinkles can ruin the look of your wall decal. To fix this, spray a mixture of equal parts soap and water on the decal and the wall, then smooth out the bubbles with your thumb. For stubborn bubbles, use a hairdryer (our best friend at this point) to warm the adhesive before pressing down. This should eliminate all imperfections in no time.
